On Eagle's Wings
What an amazing afternoon! Kris and I went to Branched Oak after she received info that there were eagles and a many other water fowl there. The lake was covered with numerous types of birds, if was such a gift from God to see all of them. There were several eagles but this juvenile one put on a little show for us.

Hawk
Kris and I went out to Branch Oak Farm and on the way back this hawk decided to not be camera shy, so with Kris's driving skills and directions I was finally able to get a picture that didn't involve bird butts!!!

Bohemian Alps Snow Owl
Dan and I were out and about looking for strange and unusual wildlife. I thought I had seen it all when Dan captured a pot belly pig running towards our vehicle with the two farm dogs but a couple of hours later, there it was, the rarest of rare the Bohemian Alps Snow Owl. I was mesmorized, I slowly focused my camera on him, held my breath and click, click, click, I captured a photo for the world to see!!! I will be calling the Audubon Society to share this amazing discovery.

Spring is a Comin'
Kris and I went to Campbell's today for another photo lesson. Kris had me shooting mainly in manual and some aperture. Was a beautiful day and I feel like I am getting it a little more each time we go out. Now that I said that the next time will be a complete bust!

Warm Weather
I went out for about a half hour to practice with the 100-400. It's hard to drive, look for subjects and focus on them. This was all I was able to accomplish.
