What a wonderful Easter we had, we are so very blessed. Cody and Chantell had everyone over for a cookout, Paiton was able to come home for her first 24 hour pass and we got some family photos!!!
I made it to Kansas this week with no problems and got to see Braydon play baseball. I do believe I have photos of a future All Star!!! I might be a little biased but he is one good little ball player and I am one proud grandma.
When your given a lemon and have three grandsons with you stuck on a country road for 1 1/2 hours, you let them run buck wild in the corn fields and take advantage of the fact that you had your camera with you and make lemonade!
Normally I don't take very many pictures of people but we were at Dominic's basketball tournament and I decided to take my camera to the last game. I noticed a couple of the other players tossing the basketballs in front of him as he was waiting for his turn to run a route during warm ups. I was lucky in my timing and captured him framed between two of them. I felt it would lend itself well to b&w, I then added a radial blur, grunge texture and vignette.
Wow, it has been awhile since I have gotten to take any photos of Jaxson since I don't babysit any more. I can't believe how much he is growing up, he doesn't look like a baby anymore when comparing this to some of the older photos but he sure is looking like his daddy. Two haircuts and he still has all these curls, I hope they never go away!
These two have such a special connection and I love seeing them together. I think because Brooke and Braydon came to live in Lincoln when Bud deployed the first time and Braydon was so young (6months maybe) and that Papa was there all the time they really bonded. Not sure which I prefer, color or black and white.
It is a Pierce 4th of July tradition to blow up a watermelon and this years was spectacular. Bruce provided the denotation device, he and Cory installed it and the rest was history.
All I want for Christmas I all ready have, a husband that loves me with all my flaws, makes me laugh and which everyday is a blessing as long as I am with him.
What a blessing to get and watch Jax's a few days each week for about a hour between Mommy going to work and Daddy getting off. Not too long so that the role of who's who is diminished, I just want to be grandma.
