Into the blind we go!
The moment has arrived, it's 4:00 and they are taking us to our blind. I feel like I have climbed to the top of the water slide and now I want down but everyone behind me is saying go, go, go!!! LOL when we get there it is not near as bad as I had imagined nor was it as cramped as I feared. We saw lots of birds besides the cranes.
Lesser Yellowlegs
Killdeer

Bath Time!
It's bath time! They were such clowns, they would flip on their back and roll along until they bumped into some one and then get up.

Sandhill Cranes - Getting Started
The day is finally here and I am so excited. We left early so we had plenty of time to check things out.
Seeing them in the fields for the first time was great, we then went to one of the day time blinds. The weather was beyond wonderful. First one I saw overhead but there were many more to follow!
