Just a few of the feathered friends we saw while looking out Dan's folks deck.  I saw lot more than I was able to capture!

Squaw Creek

On our way to Dan's folks we made a run thru Squaw Creek and I sure am glad we did.  The birds were in abundance and I got to practice panning the Pelicans to get ready for the Sandhill Cranes in two weeks.

Another afternoon with Kris at Branched Oak, the birds were plentiful and the weather was spectaculor.  This little guy sure was enjoying his fish.

What a beautiful building and a wonderful place to practice my photography.  Kris was helping me learn to photograph in difficult lighting situations.  I also was practicing seeing the different levels tones.
