This Red Belly Woodpecker was a little confused and thought it was a "hummer"! The way he would hang on with his feet and use his tail to balance must of given him abs of steel. I was surprised how thick his tongue was and how it is used like a straw.
Cool shots...I guess he likes "hummer" food too! He is a very pretty woodpecker.
