Dad

Dad is 82 and has entered a different stage of life.  It has been very hard for him to realize he is forgetting more and more things and hard for us to see him so sad. 

The end of 2010 at the Lauritzen Gardens - Omaha Botanical Center

Dan and I went to the Gardens to practice using our cameras.  What a beautiful place to practice, went ahead a got a membership as I am sure I will be making several trips there.  The Christmas display was still up but next month they will feature a Tropical Paradise, looking forward to seeing that.

This is what happens when there is but one woman and the rest is run by testosterone! 

First post with Canon 7D since switching from Nikon D80

  After much thought and research I made the decision to switch from Nikon to Canon.  I went to the zoo with Kris today for a photo lesson using my 7D + 100-400 and I am loving it.
