It's always interesting to me when we travel some of the back roads on our trips to see what a appears to be an abandoned, run down house or farm but will have an active mailbox. I wonder if there really is someone living there, are they just using it as a mailing address or if there are shenanigans going on that we don't want to know about or to get too close.
Good questions? I love old mailboxes. Actually, I still like to send and receive snail-mail (letters not bills 😉).
