This guy almost ended up in our truck, the windows were down and he could
smell the popcorn, we have a photo of his nose print on the side of the door,
poor Dan was getting a little nervous!

Wildlife at the Smokeys
It was a fantastic spring for black bears in the Smokey's, that doesn't mean I was successful getting great images but sure did enjoy seeing them with their cubs and sometimes that just has to be enough. We also saw an abundance of coyotes and they sure weren't as straggly looking as the ones I usually see around here.

Hurricane Falls
We came across this great landmark the first time we vacationed in Tennessee several years ago and wanted to make sure we saw it again but this time with our cameras. This is actually part of the Loretta Lynn ranch, her home and replica of the log cabin is there also plus several other bunk houses that are used for the dude ranch operations. The mill in the fall is just gorgeous. It has been fun going through some of my older images but I sure am looking forward to some warmer weather and getting the camper ready for some new adventures!

Smokey Mountains
These are from Cade's Cove in the Smokey Mountains. The colors were just stunning and the early morning fog was spectacular as well.

Smokey Mountains
We had our first day at the Smokey Mountains and they are breathtaking!!! It is so hard to try and capture the beauty and fall colors. We were up and out to the park by 5:30 this morning and it was so worth it. We saw a large black bear running across a meadow but it was much too far away to even try and get a picture but we saw one! Going back in the morning to try again.
